The brief was credibility through work. Tattooing is a high-commitment, permanent purchase where the client is choosing an artist, not a shop. So the portfolio gallery is the centre of the entire design, bold, large, and front-loaded, with a dark interface that makes the work pop the way it would under studio lighting.
Artist profiles are given real weight, because clients follow artists and want to know whose hands they're in. The booking enquiry is deliberately simple, a consultation request rather than a hard sell, matching how this decision actually gets made.
Mobile-first and fast, structured so new work can be added to the gallery continuously as artists build their books.
